Choose a server

Tap a server row to select it; the selected location is highlighted. Choosing another server while the VPN is active reconnects to it. On TV, moving the remote focus does not switch servers until you press OK.

Use the large button to connect or disconnect. On iPhone it shows the status and elapsed connection time. The timer tracks the VPN session, not how long the app screen has been open.

Server tests and connection checks

The lightning button tests servers using the method selected in settings. TCP checks the server port; ICMP checks ping replies. Proxy GET and HEAD tests use the server configuration and a test web address.

Check connection below the main button makes a web request while the VPN is active. A green result indicates success; red indicates an error or timeout. Its time in milliseconds may be higher than TCP latency because the tests measure different actions.

The check follows your subscription’s routing rules. If the provider routes the test address directly, a successful response does not prove that all traffic uses a proxy.

When results differ

• Compare the same test method on the same network. Mobile signal, the test destination and server load affect latency.
• A server can block ICMP while accepting VPN connections normally.
• Latency in milliseconds is not download speed. A speed test is a separate measurement and consumes data.

Wi-Fi and mobile data

When the network changes, VPMKS attempts to restore the connection. Let the device join the new network, then tap Check connection. Recovery time depends on the network, server and device.

If access does not return, check internet access without the VPN, then reconnect. If the problem repeats, save diagnostics and note which network transition occurred.
